Meta or Google ads for a D2C brand?
A decision guide, not a ranking.
They answer different questions
Google ads catch people who are already searching for something like your product. Meta ads show your product to people who did not know they wanted it.
Neither is better. They suit different products and stages.
Use this as a starting rule
If people already search for what you sell, start with Google. If your product is new, visual or impulse-led, start with Meta. If you have a budget for both, give the channel with clearer demand about 60 percent and test the other.
Review after eight weeks of clean tracking, not before.
Watch the full cost
Judge each channel by cost to get a customer after returns, not by return on ad spend in the dashboard alone.
